Apple patches iPhone and iPad with iOS 4.3.5

Apple has really been cranking out the security updates recently. On Monday, they released iOS version 4.3.5 which affects the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Here are the update details from the Apple support document:

A certificate chain validation issue existed in the handling of X.509 certificates. An attacker with a privileged network position may capture or modify data in sessions protected by SSL/TLS. Other attacks involving X.509 certificate validation may also be possible. This issue is addressed through improved validation of X.509 certificate chains.

As always, you can get the update via iTunes. If you have the Verizon iPhone, you can get iOS 4.2.10 to fix this issue.
